15.02.22 - ORCHA health and well being apps library is now live!

The NHS Digital Team have been working with ORCHA to develop and launch Somerset’s new, publicly available health and wellbeing apps library.  There are over 375,000 health and care apps available in unregulated app stores with no clear indication or guarantee of how clinically effective they are. This website will support the public and the workforce in using and promoting approved apps.

This is an NHS England endorsed project, and we are the first CCG to be going live and will be working across the whole of the ICS, including the voluntary sector to share this one solution that will help empower the public to support their own health and wellbeing.  There are apps for everyone, from children to adults, at all stages of the health journey, whether informational, preventative or to support someone on a waiting list, with a long-term condition or post-discharge.

Access the ORCHA Apps library by clicking here
